Rhinoceros beetle occurs throughout many tropical regions of the world and adults can cause extensive damage to economically important wild and palms trees. Territory of Rhinoceros beetle is leaf litters, plants and fallen logs. The beetles damage by boring into the centre of the crown, injuring the young growing tissues and feed on the exuded sap. As they bore into the crown, they cut through the developing leaves. The damage can significantly reduce 20-25% production and kill the tree.
